Palm Springs Ca: Police Spokesman Long said K9 “Ike” died doing what he was trained to do, protect his handler from a gun shot wound. Two officers were injured, but will recover.
Ike was the first K9 killed while on duty in Palm Springs. He was a pal to the entire force and is deeply missed.
