K9 Kane has been partnered with Officer Michael Little for about a year at the Galt Police Department in Galt, CA. He’s been patrolling sans bullet-proof vest because they tend to be expensive and are usually not covered by tax dollars. This is one of the many reasons organizations like Foothills K9 and Cover Your K9 exist. The types of threats he faces could put he and his partner at risk. Now, thanks to Cover Your K9, a new bullet-proof vest has been provided as a gift to K9 Kane and we have the pictures to prove it and we thought it would be great for the FHK9 community to share in this together. It’s what we live for, after all, and it’s all “for the dogs”. (pictures below)
